Baby, we were stuck in the bum days

I really miss playing The Sims. Yeah, being the control-freak-lord over your created people or err person. Making fools out of those computer generated people persons. Gawd, I used to play that game for like 4 hours in a row. I was just so addicted to it. And now, I haven't played that game for such a long time. Ahhh. Other than Quake, that's just the other computer game I really play. Wahahaha.

My bumming kubo days are over. Now is the time to get all serious and a lot more studious. The brain hybernation needs to be ceased for this time because I'll really need to use it. Hahaha, bad bad bad!! I mean, it's not that I had a very easy time in MC during first year of college,I do study actually but had more cheating experiences compared to cheating experiences in grade school and s put together. I guess since I didn't really wanted to go there in the first place, I looked at everything that has got to do with it lame. It's not really untrue actually. Well, most of the teachers suck. Half of the student population, I think could not go to class without having the slightest hint of make-up. Everything had to be paid for. The security guard gets crazy mad when you don't wear your school id. Those freakin ****** guards. There are still celebrations of Buwan ng Wika, Teacher's Day Program and all other programs one could only guess happens in grade school and high school. I mean, those people who organize these things even know that what they're getting us into are really lame. They will not let anyone for example out of the auditorium until the program is over. They'll get your ID if you want to go to the cr. You know, standard precautions. Because if they didn't do that, only about a quarter of the audience would be left during the closing reamarks.

Okay, okay. Not everything about MC is really "lame". There are really good, fun and interesting things about that school too (and I actually found a lot of good friends I know I could stick with).

  • There's the very minimal load of school work. There are many bumming opportunities for you to have. Usually, we'll just sit in our favorite kubo in the kubo area and talk, eat, play cards and sometimes doze off. You can sleep early and wake up late too. But most of the time, I sleep late from watching too much television.

  • Even if uniforms are required to be worn, the good thing about it is that you wouldn't have to think of what to wear anymore. You'll just go and open your closet to find that blouse and skirt, and go and wear your black shoes. The funny thing is though, one time I had no uniforn to wear this particular day. All were in the laundry and I just wore casual to school. Yep yep. Wahaha. Violation.

  • If your tecahers are those kinds who thinks a little out of this world, very unconventional and who doesn't actually care if you learn anything or not, then it will be easy for you to cheat. Yep, that's what my chums and I did in our sociology class. Study the day of the test, sit beside each other, share what you know and *poof!* perfect score.

  • If you genuinely like the course you are taking up, then having you major can sometimes be fun. I took up international studies and I actually loved it thanks a lot to our IS teacher, Sir Raj. Sir Raj is a crazy old sick man whose knowledge of his subject surpasses many. He is not really a humble person and usually boasts of his published works, his many attended universities which includes up and ateneo and just plainly himself. He also cusses frequently. But what I really like about this particulat teacher is that he knows what he's talking about. He is very passionate about what he's teaching, and I actually learn something from him. The thing I hate most when it comes to teachers are those who looks like he has no choice but to teach that's why he does it. Ughh. Unfortunately, Sir Raj, the only sane insane teacher I know in MC, will be teaching in another school. I think it's because of forced retirement or something. MC pa.

  • The good thing about all-girls since gs was having to do stuff not very nice if you do around guys. It's like the school is a very big girl's dorm or something similar to that.

Well, that's all I can think of. That's lesser than I thought. I'm really not the optimist.

But with all this, I am actually quite scared to go to my new co-ed university. Hope everything turns out well.

Peeez owt!
