I just wanna say that I'm the Queen of Bloopers when it comes to commuting. Bow.


Today is July 10.

I remember vividly the time I stepped on wet cement. That happened January this year and I think it was because of false judgements and just plain sleepiness. If I would recall all the commute "bloopers" I had since my 1st yr in mc last year, those number of times would surely be more than your fingers and my fingers put together. Haha. No, wait, I'm not really sure. But the point is, I've had so many "misfortunes" (but ultimatey funny ones) when I commute. I don't know if it's in my lack of experience (nahhh), my inattentiveness, the country's poor public transportation and roads,
or just plain stupidity. Maybe the last one can already explain everything...

It's just this. I had another one last thursday when I didn't have money for paying the trike. Read: NO MONEY. It's not that I didn't have change or I had a whole 1000 (which I never will have), but I didn't have anything to pay for the ride. I forgot that time that I had to withdraw, that I didn't have any money anymore. And so, while I was in the trike searching in the deepest corners of my backpack and found nothing, I was sorta panicking and laughing at myself. Actually nahahalata na nung kasabay ko na wala akong mahanap na pera. Meron nga tatlong piso pala. But kamon...

And so, I did what I needed to do even if I had to sacrifice my dignity (exxxagg!). I asked money from the person I was with, whom I didn't know at all. It was extremely embarrassing and stupid. Hahaha. What saved me was my stored value for lrt.

So there. Lesson: always have a stored value card.
