backwards

You have a face for the radio.

Okay, I'd probably slap the person who will tell me that. But you see, the song is very much stuck in my mind.

¿Que hizo hoy?
Spanish class is fun only because it's really funny when you get barok in Spanish. Other than that, it's also the fact that my classmates and I talk so so slow in Spanish. When asked a question by the teacher, we just instantly stare at her while our mind tries to process what the hell she just said, then process how the hell to answer her. The good thing about it though is that every meeting is always one step away from talking with *insert a spanish-talking person here* and reading the free spanish version of Don Quixote de Cervantes Aileen and I got from last saturday's Dia del Libro in Instituto Cervantes.

¿Hiciste en el pasada semana?
The glory of Manila. Nothing beats commuting all the way to Manila in the middle of the day, in the middle of the heat. Aileen and I were like tourists while riding the LRT because we were looking at the diagrams with lists of different landmarks found in every station of the train. We wanted to go to Instituto Cervantes because it is like a Spanishy World Book Day. (wtf) We got tipsy with all the free wine that we "tasted" and got sleepy from the overwhelming paella we ate. Can I just say, ang sarap!

Jessica Zafra was there, and you could get her autograph. I wanted to, but I didn't have money anymore to buy a book of hers where she could sign. Para astig diba. Either way, what will I say to her? "Hi can you please sign my copy of your book? Address it to... Jessica, we have the same name you see. Now, how cool is that?!" *smile*

In the end we found that the train station from Instituto was just walking distance away, when we took a cab going there from that station.

¿Tomimos pasado viernes?
Si, tomimos con mi amigos.
5 rounds of Zombie plus an extra pitcher of Chi chi (?) were not enough last friday. Especially to get talking about the object of his infection...oh I mean, affection! :) Oh well, your day will come. Or should I say, Your drink will come. :) Everyone else was blabbing though. Aylavit.
